FF8 Dresspheres: Alchemists

I've been getting impatient with myself so I'm uploading and re-uploading all the dressphere designs I made so far for Squall and Rinoa until I'm done before making a compilation of them all in two files, one for Squall and one for Rinoa.

I love FFX-2 dresspheres, more than the jobs systems on other FF games and their outfits are not only pretty original, they're unable to get away with pixel splotches of colour like previous ones (btw i haven't played XI-13 (are they on 14 yet? jeez))

If they look like they belong in FFX-2 rather than 8, I did my job then. I wasn't trying to go for an FF8 look, I was basically making outfits if Squall and Rinoa were in FFX-2. And besides, I haven't played 8 in forever, I've been playing X-2 past month so I'm more inspired by X than 8.

About the Outfit


The Alchemist design was one of my favourite to do. I made them most more rustic than their original design in FF8 on purpose while still having very subtle hints of their key symbols, like feathers and lions.

Rinoa has red feathers instead of white becasue, well, the Alchemist saved my ass so many times with Stashed items like Phoenix down, and Phoenixes have red feathers~ I thought it was a nice touch.
I wanted to sort-of Incorporated Squall's gunblade into this so his weapon has a pair of blades on the sides, more for stabbing than actual sword fighting.
