If they look like they belong in FFX-2 rather than 8, I did my job then. I wasn't trying to go for an FF8 look, I was basically making outfits if Squall and Rinoa were in FFX-2. And besides, I haven't played 8 in forever, I've been playing X-2 past month so I'm more inspired by X than 8.

About the Outfit

"Lion Heart" is Griever itself controlled by Squall, Shockwave Pulasr are the little Bokeh around them, and Nexus is technically Squall himself with very very little HP. It's best to cast Shell and Protect ASAP for him, because if Squall Dies, so does Griever.

Well, its not exactly "Squall" per-say; It's Griever, symbiosis of Squall. Which basically means Griever as from a part of Squall's mind is now fused with Squall himself~ He's about as naked as Rinoa, having just little armour plates to cover his naughty bits.

Griever is attached to Squall, not like Ultimecia, but through mechanical means. The wings are not attached to the arms or head of Griever, but are separate and attached to Squall. The head and arms of Griever are also separate, and all of Griever is connected by, other than Squall and machinery, that red membrane stuff.

I really couldn't exaggerate much of Squall himself and instead of using his gunblades, I thought, well Since Griever is not only his symbol and final boss, it is a part of Squall itself. I was thinking almost something like Rikku's Machina Maw but more attached.

My original design for Squall wasn't Squall at all, it was a Griever Gundam TwT It looks kickass but then I remembered I can't colour large portions of metal for shit~ I'll upload the sketch instead, though~

Lion Heart:
Attack Griever uses his arm blades to swing at the enemy, having one arm to protect Squall. Alternates arms per attack. He will breath out forms of dust to damage enemies magically.
